|| Instructions for changing a domain's nameservers

Note, IP addresses do not need to be specified for existing nameservers. Typically, the nameservers you want to use already exist and are in use for other domains. If this is not the case, see "Adding a new nameserver" below.

Changing a domain's nameservers

  • Login to your EnCirca account.
  • Select 'Domain-modify domain' from the left-side menu.
  • Enter the domain to modify.
  • At the bottom of the screen, add the first nameserver you want to add and select "Add NS".
  • Repeat this step for the second nameserver.
  • Select the two default nameservers to be deleted.
  • Select "Continue".
  • Confirm your changes.

  Your changes will take effect within an hour or so.
