What is Data Loss Prevention?
Gmail data loss prevention (DLP) lets you use predefined content detectors when scanning inbound or outbound email. Google specifically designed these predefined detectors to locate sensitive data, such as credit card, Social Security, or passport numbers.
What is Cloud Identity Premium?
Cloud Identity Premium provides managed Google Accounts to users who don’t need certain Google Workspace services, such as Gmail and Google Calendar. However, users can access Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Keep, Meet, enterprise security, application management, and device management services. These services include features such as automated user provisioning, app whitelisting, and automated mobile device management
What is Context Aware Access?
Context aware access creates granular access control policies to apps based on attributes such as user identity, location, device security status, and IP address. Policies can be set to allow access to apps only from company-issued devices, allow access to Drive only if a user storage device is encrypted, and restrict access to apps from outside the corporate network.

What is S/MIME Encryption?
Emails are encrypted with the recipient’s public key. The email can only be decrypted with the corresponding private key, which is in sole possession of the recipient.

Data Regions allow you to control where covered data for select Google Workspace apps is stored at rest — whether globally distributed, in the US, or across Europe.
What is Access Transparency?
Access Transparency is a part of Google’s long-term commitment to transparency and user trust. Access Transparency logs record the actions that Google personnel take when accessing customer content.
