Only members of the aviation community, incorporating airlines, airports, companies, organizations, associations, government agencies and qualified individuals, may register a domain name in .aero.

Before you register a domain name, you should:

1. Check your eligibility to register a .aero domain name and the format in which you can register your chosen domain name  here .
2. Verify if your chosen domain name is available, by using the “Check name” box at the upper right-hand corner of this page.
3. Obtain your .aero ID prior to registration of your chosen domain name. Request your .aero ID now.

Special Note
Every registrant needs to obtain a .aero ID in order to be able to register .aero domains. Your .aero ID is the unique validity process, which screens potential domain registrants thus ensuring the integrity and the exclusivity of the .aero domain.

Domain Policies

SITA has been representing the aviation community for more than fifty years. As the sponsor of .aero SITA and the Dot Aero Council is working with government and industry representative bodies to develop, maintain and enforce the .aero Domain Management Policy (DMP). This policy defines the rules associated with eligibility and domain name allocation, sets out the license terms governing the use of a .aero domain name and describes the dispute resolution policies for the .aero TLD.

It is important that you read the policy before applying for a .aero domain name, as it sets out the conditions governing the license and use of a .aero domain name.

Domain Management Policy

I. General principles

1. Aviation community and the role of SITA

The .aero domain is a sponsored Top Level Domain (“TLD”) established by and for the use of the members of the aviation community. SITA, the Sponsor of the .aero domain, is a not for profit cooperative that has been representing the aviation community for more than fifty years. SITA’s role is to manage the .aero domain in the interests of the aviation community. SITA will, with the advice of relevant government and industry representative bodies, develop, maintain and enforce this .aero domain management policy.

This policy is intended to be updated and revised regularly to reflect aviation industry interests. The current version of this policy is publicly available on the following web sites: www.information.aero and www.nic.aero. Comments submitted through those web sites will be considered for updates of this document.

The .aero  TLD  is restricted to people, entities and government agencies which: (1) provide for and support the efficient, safe, and secure transport of people and cargo by air; and (2) facilitate or perform the necessary transactions to transport people and cargo by air.

1. Policy structure

The .aero domain is structured to provide for the allocation of domain names within specific Domain Types to specific Registrants within Registrant Groups. Each Registrant Group represents a sector of the aviation community. SITA, working with representative aviation community associations and organizations, defines the domain naming conventions which will ensure consistency, fair allocation and predictability of the .aero domain.

This policy defines the rules of eligibility and .aero domain name allocation for each Registrant Group. It also sets out the license terms and described the dispute resolution procedures for the .aero TLD.

Registrant Groups & Representative Bodies

Registrants are grouped according to similar characteristics in Registrant Groups which represent aviation industry segments. For each Registrant Group this policy defines eligibility criteria.

A Representative Body is appointed by SITA to represent each Registrant Group. They contribute to the development of this policy by expressing recommendations on rules and mechanisms of determining eligibility, domain applicability, and the schedule of deployment. In particular they contribute to the definition of the naming convention and the .aero domain name allocation within the Registrant Group that they represent. Terms of the arrangements with Representative Bodies are summarized in the appendices.

1. Registration process

Registration of a .aero domain name is done in 2 steps: Identification, then Registration. After Registration, the holder of a .aero domain name must comply with the licence rules (see Chapter “Licence Rules”).

Step 1- Identification

Each Registrant must be recognized as member of the aviation community. This eligibility check can be performed by various mechanisms (described in section “Eligibility” of this document) and is concluded by the assignment of an “Aviation Community Membership ID”. Once a Registrant has obtained an Aviation Community Membership ID, the Registrant is entitled to register any names currently open for the Registrant Group the Registrant belongs to. This step needs to be performed only once by each Registrant.

Step 2 – Registration

Once the Registrant is ready to proceed with the registration of a .aero domain name, the Registrant must choose a Registrar (authorised distributor of .aero domains) to obtain a .aero domain name licence and pay the registration fee. Some domain names are pre-allocated while some need to be requested directly by the Registrant at the time of Registration. The Aviation Community Membership ID can be reused for multiple registrations by the same Registrant.

II. Eligibility requirements

1. Eligibility Requirements

To be recognized as a member of the aviation community, a Registrant must establish that it belongs to a Registrant Group. The list and description of registrant Groups is shown below.

Aerial works	All commercial and non-comercial civil flight operations of which the primary goal is not the transportation of persons or goods from one point to another, including all flight operations for the benefit of third parties (public benefits) are aerial works operations. Such activities may include, but are not limited to fire fighting, agicultural flights, traffic surveillance, or weather research and environment surveillance.
Aerospace	Aircraft, engine, equipment or satellite manufacturers, companies, organisations or individuals carrying out business involving maintenance, testing, and distribution .
Air freight & logistics companies	Freight forwarders and express carriers involved in air transportation
Air navigation services providers	Air traffic control (ATC), ATC suppliers, ATC industry members and associations
Air safety, medical and certification	Air ambulances, airport security, and certification companies and organisaions
Air sports and recreational aviation	Air sports and recreational aviation clubs and their members, federations, national associations, organisers of competitions linked to air sports, and suppliers of air sports and recreational aviation equipment.

Civil aviation authorities	National and regional civil aviation authorities, governmental departments regulating civil aviation, accident investigation bodies.
Government organisationslinked to aviation	Regulating and standard setting organisations, state aviation, government aviation service agencies
Pilots	All commercial and private pilots.

Once its eligibility is established, the Registrant will receive an Aviation Community Membership ID (via mail, email or fax) that it will use to identify itself when registering a .aero domain name. SITA and the .aero Representative Bodies are designing and putting in place various mechanisms to perform this identification and eligibility process.

A Registrant may currently choose among the following mechanisms:

1. a) Being designated by a .aero Partner Association of which the Registrant is a member (see pre-authentication by .aero Partner Association); or
2. b) Applying to the .aero Office through a Registrar or an online application process.

Once its eligibility is established, the Registrant will receive an Aviation Community Membership ID (via mail, email or fax) that it will use to identify itself when registering a .aero domain name. SITA and the .aero Representative Bodies are designing and putting in place various mechanisms to perform this identification and eligibility process.

A Registrant may currently choose among the following mechanisms:

1. a) Being designated by a .aero Partner Association of which the Registrant is a member (see pre-authentication by .aero Partner Association); or
2. b) Applying to the .aero Office through an online application process.

Following the assignment of the Aviation Community Membership ID, the registrant can view and update information associated with the Aviation Community Membership ID through an online process on the web site  http://www.information.aero .

1. Pre-authentication bya .aero Partner Association

Industry associations can sign a partnership agreement with SITA to become a .aero Partner Association. A Registrant who is a members of a .aero Partner Association can be nominated by the association to receive an Aviation Community Membership ID.

The association will either

• provide the list of such nominees to SITA, classified into their appropriate registrant groups. The Registrant will receive their Aviation Community Membership ID directly from their .aero partner association (or upon request); or
• provide data for the purpose of verification when required by SITA. The Registrant will receive its Aviation Community Membership ID from SITA or from the Registrar.

6. Application to the .aero Office

Any Registrant can request an Aviation Community Membership ID from the .aero Office prior to submitting domain registration request.

• provide information regarding the Registrant’s identity;
• select the Registrant Group to which the Registrant belongs;
• identify and provide the relevant credentials for that Registrant Group, as detailed in the Appendix, section 28. All documents sent to the .aero Office need to be translated into English or French.

By submitting the application, the Registrant:

• Warrants that it is a member of the aviation community and meets the eligibility requirements set out in this Policy;
• Agrees to the terms set out in this Policy, including the Eligibility Reconsideration Policy;
• Declares that it has the relevant credentials as described in the Appendix, section 28.
• Declares that the information provided in the application is complete and correct;
• Acknowledges that the issue of the Aviation Community Membership ID is subject to verification and audit by SITA and agrees that when required by SITA, it will supply supporting documents to allow SITA to verify the credentials and other information in the application;

The .aero Office can request additional information from the Registrant including by way of example the latest annual report of the company, evidence of a registration of the company, a certificate from a relevant civil aviation authority, or request a confirmation from a relevant industry authority or association that the Registrant is a member of the Registrant Group selected.

The Eligibility Reconsideration Policy applies for resolving any dispute with regard to any decision by the .aero Office.

III. Domain allocation rules

1. Spelling conventions and other restrictions

The .aero domain name must:

• be at least 3 characters and no more than 63 characters long (except airline industry codes as described in “Industry Codes” )
• in the case of an allocated sub-domain (i.e. domain name on the 3rd level or higher) be at least 2 characters and no more than 63 characters long e.g. CC.CAA.AERO
• not contain a hyphen on the 3rd and 4th position (tagged domains)
• contain only letters (a-z), numbers (0-9) and hyphens or a combination of these
• start and end with an alphanumeric character, not a hyphen

Reserved names

The names set out in the appendix Reserved Names are not available for registration unless designated as Special Industry Names or Industry Codes.

Country names and names of geographical areas

Country names and geographical areas cannot be registered as second level domain names, unless expressly provided for in this policy.

Provisions for future development

Registration of certain types of domain names may be restricted to protect a particular part of the name space for future development of predictive addressing schemes.

1. Domain allocation rules

The .aero domain comprises four different types of domains. Some domain types are pre-allocated to particular Registrants or to a whole Registrant Group, while other domain types need to be requested when registering. Some domain types may be restricted to some Registrant Groups. The rules for the allocation of each Domain Type are set out in the following table:

Airline identifiers

Format: IATA2characterairlinedesignator.aero (xx.aero)

Eligibility : The Registrant will require allocation by IATA. The Registrant will be a unique holder of the domain. Controlled duplicates will not be available.

Revocation : The domain name will be revoked if the corresponding 2 character airline designator is revoked by IATA

Other requirements:

1. a) The Registrant is required to use the domain name in compliance with IATA RP 1784.
2. b) The Sponsor may register this domain name to improve predictability of the name space. The domain will be transferred to the eligible Registrant when requested by the relevant Registrar.

Format: ICAO3letterairlinedesignator.aero (xxx.aero)

Eligibility : The Registrant wil require allocation of the three-letter airline designator by ICAO.

Revocation : The domain name will be revoked if the corresponding ICAO 3-letter designator is revoked.

Other requirements:

1. a) In the event of an overlap between the ICAO 3-letter airline designator and the IATA or FAA 3-letter location designator, the first-come first-served rule applies. However, the registrant is required to place a link on its web site leading to the web site of the airport operator that is identified by the corresponding IATA 3 letter location designator.
2. b) The Sponsor may register this domain name to improve predictability of the name space. The domain will be transferred to the eligible Registrant when requested by the relevant Registrar.

Location indentifiers

Format: IATA3letterlocationdesignator.aero or FAA3characterlocationidentifier.aero (xxx.aero)

Eligibility : The Registrant must be an operator of an airport with a location code assigned to it by IATA or FAA.

Revocation : The domain name will be revoked if the registrant ceases to be the operator of the airport or the corresponding 3 letter airport designator is revoked by IATA or FAA.

Other requirements:

1. a) In the event of an overlap between the ICAO 3-letter airline designator and the IATA 3-letter location designator, the first-come first-served rule applies. However, the registrant is required to place a link on its web site leading to the web site of the airline which operates under the corresponding ICAO 3 letter airline designator.
2. b) The Sponsor may register this domain name to improve predictability of the name space. The domain will be transferred to the eligible Registrant when requested by the relevant Registrar.

Route codes

Format: Domain names in the notation AAA-BBB.AERO, where AAA and BBB are location designator assigned by IATA.

Eligibility : The Registrant must be the operator of the airport with a location code AAA or BBB assigned to it by IATA.

Revocation : The domain name will be revoked if the registrant ceases to be the operator of the airport or if the corresponding 3 letter airport designator is revoked by IATA.

Other requirements:

2. b) The Sponsor may register this domain name to improve predictability of the name space. The domain will be transferred to the eligible Registrant when requested by the relevant Registrar.

Flight Numbers

Format: Flightnumber.aero (domain names in the notation AA[A]NNNN.AERO , where AA[A] is an airline designator and NNNN is one to four digits)

Eligibility : The Registrant must be an operator of origin or destination airport of the flight or the airline operating the flight.

Revocation : The domain name will be revoked if registrant ceases to be an operator of the airport or if the corresponding 3 letter airport designator is revoked by IATA.

Other requirements:

1. a) The domain will be delegated on a first-come first-served basis to eligible registrants. However, in the event the operating airline wishes to provide a service using all the domain names corresponding to its flight numbers, then the airline may make an application to the Sponsor regarding its proposal and the Sponsor may automatically reassign all relevant domain names to the airline.

3. c) The Sponsor may register this domain name to improve predictability of the name space. The domain will be transferred to the eligible Registrant when requested by the relevant Registrar.
4. Unregulated name on SLD

Format

Eligibility

The Registrant is allowed to register any name in the above format, which follows the common rules and spelling conventions described above.

Allocation

Domain names are licensed to Registrants on a “first come, first served” basis. If a domain name is already licensed, or if an application is pending for that name, then no further applications will be accepted for that name until the name is either revoked or the pending application declined.

1. Allocated sub domains

Allocated sub-domains are limited in number and are defined by the Representative Body for each Registrant Group. Representative Bodies may propose for inclusion in this Policy specific eligibility criteria, naming conventions, allocation and revocation rules for a particular sub-domain. Registration is open for sub-domains, where such criteria have been defined in this policy.

Eligibility : The Registrant must be an operator of an airport or airfield with the corresponding location designator allocated by IATA or ICAO.

Revocation : The domain name will be revoked if the registrant ceases to be an operator of the airport or if the corresponding location designator is revoked by IATA or ICAO.

Other requirements:

1. a) The Sponsor may register this domain name to improve predictability of the name space. The domain will be transferred to the eligible Registrant when requested by the relevant Registrar.
2. b) No other three- or four- character domain names are permitted in thesubdomainaero.
3. c) Further restrictions on the use of this domain are specified in the policy for .aero shortcuts here .
4. Special Industry Names

Special Industry Names are limited in number and are listed in the Appendix par 26. The Sponsor reserves the right to include new names in the list of reserved names.

Allocation

Special industry names can be allocated by the Sponsor to any member of the aviation community, who in the opinion of the Sponsor will use the domain name for the best benefit of the aviation community.

The following allocation mechanisms are currently used:

• the name is allocated to a .aero representative body for its own use;
• the right is given to a .aero representative body to allocate the name;
• the name is allocated on the basis of a proposal submitted to the Sponsor.

A party interested in the allocation of a special industry name is required to submit a proposal to the Sponsor stating their credentials and describing the intended use of the name. To determine whether the allocation of a special industry name is in the best interest of the aviation community, the Sponsor will normally solicit the advice of the Dot Aero Council.

Registration

Once a special industry name has been allocated, it can then be registered through any .aero registrar following the usual domain registration process.

IV. Licence Rules

1. Licenceperiod and renewals

The initial licence period for a .aero domain name is two years. The licence to use the .aero domain name can be renewed at the end of each licence period for further terms of one year, subject to the current terms and conditions. The Registrar will attempt to contact the Registrant (or their agent) when the .aero domain name requires renewal, but the Registrant is responsible to ensure renewal.

1. Continuing eligibility

If the Licensee ceases to be a member of the Registrant Group to which their .aero domain name is associated, then the Licensee must cancel registration of that .aero domain name within 14 days of ceasing to be a member.

1. Domain namelicencetransfer

The licence to use the .aero domain name may only be transferred in the following circumstances:

1. a) the person to whom the .aero domain name is to be transferred to meets the criteria set out in this .aero Domain Management Policy for the holder of that .aero domain name; and
2. b)theprescribed fee is paid.

Transfers of a .aero domain name are carried out by the Registrar of the .aero domain name.

1. Revoking a domain namelicence

The Registrant agrees with the Sponsor that the Sponsor may revoke the license to use a .aero domain name for the reasons outlined below:

Change in status

If the Registrant ceases to be a member of the Registrant Group to which their .aero domain name is associated.

Fee not paid

If the prescribed fee is not paid within the required time.

Breach of warranty

If a warranty supplied by the Registrant or their agent is breached.

Incorrect information

If misleading, incomplete or incorrect information is supplied in the application.

Failure to comply with this policy

If the Registrant fails to comply with this policy.

Court decision

If a court of competent authority determines that the .aero domain name should not be licensed to the Registrant, be removed from the registry or be licensed to another person.

Improper use

If the .aero domain name, or the use of the .aero domain name, is not in the best interests of the aviation community.

Instruction

If instructed by the Registrant.

Error

If a .aero domain name which could not otherwise be registered under this policy is registered through mistake.

V. Dispute Resolution Policies

1. ERP

All Registrants agree to be bound by the Eligibility Reconsideration Policy (“ERP”). This policy, which operates by way of a request for reconsideration, applies to any challenge by a Registrant to a decision by the Sponsor

(a) that the Registrant does not or does no longer meet the .aero eligibility requirements as described in this Policy, and so is not entitled to an Aviation Community Membership ID; or

(b) if the registrant is a holder of a .aero domain name, to revoke the domain name licence.

1. CEDRP

All Registrants agree to be bound by the Charter Eligibility Dispute Resolution Policy (“CEDRP”). The CEDRP applies to challenges to registered .aero domain names on the grounds that the Registrant does not meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the Sponsored TLDCharter.

1. UDRP

All Registrants agree to be bound by the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (“UDRP”). The UDRP applies to challenges to registered domain names on the grounds that domain name is identical or confusingly similar to a trademark in which the complainant has rights.

1. Other disputes

All disputes over .aero domain names not covered by the above policies are to be resolved via the procedure outlined below:

(a) The originator of the dispute sends notice of the dispute in writing to the Sponsor.

(b) The originator, the Sponsor and any third parties must attempt to settle the dispute by negotiation.

(c) If the above attempts fail to settle the dispute, the parties agree to refer the dispute to arbitration and all parties must agree to be bound by the ruling of the arbitrator. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator. The place of arbitration will be Geneva, Switzerland. The dispute shall be decided in accordance with the law of Switzerland.

VI. Verification of eligibility and domain name registrations

The Sponsor may operate a verification system to prevent the misuse of Aviation Community Membership IDs and to ensure that this Policy is complied with. The verification may be conducted by the Sponsor or by a third party appointed by the Sponsor.

If a Registrant is selected for verification, then it may be asked to provide supporting information demonstrating that it meets the eligibility requirements set at this Policy or that the .aero domain name complies with this Policy.

If the Registrant fails to co-operate with a request or fails to co-operate within a reasonable time period, then the Sponsor may cancel the Aviation Community Membership ID and revoke the licence for the .aero domain names registered by that Registrant.

If a domain name registered as a registered entity name or trademark has become available for registration following the cancellation by Sponsor for non compliance with the domain allocation rules, then for this name the domain allocation rules valid at the time of the original registration will be in force for this domain name for another 30 days.

VII. Warranties and definitions

1. Warranties

The administration of the .aero domain relies upon the information and warranties supplied by the Registrant.

By applying for a .aero domain name, the Registrant:

• warrants that the Registrant meets the eligibility requirements set at this Policy;
• warrants that the domain name complies with this policy;
• warrants that the information provided by the Registrant is complete, true and correct;
• warrants that the registration and use of the .aero domain name does not breach any third party’s rights (such as those of a registered trademark holder);
• warrants that they have read and understood this policy and proceed on the basis that this policy is legally binding; and
• indemnifies the Sponsor to the full extent legally permitted against all claims and demands from third parties regarding registration and use of the .aero domain name.

1. Definitions

“.aero Office” refers to the Eligibility and Name Selection Services Organization responsible for (a) application of policies concerning eligibility of persons or entities to receive new or renewal registrations of Registered Names and (b) application of policies concerning selection of Registered Names to be registered to particular persons or entities.

“Registrant” is the applicant for or holder of a Registered Name.

“Registrar” is an entity or person accredited by ICANN and appointed by Sponsor to act as a registrar for domain names within the .aero domain.

“SITA” means Societe Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautiques, a Belgian co-operative corporation.

Participate in .aero governance The Representative Body can become a member of the Dot-Aero Council (DAC), thus advising SITA on the policies and the management of the .aero domain. Expand membership The sponsoring mechanism will allow Representative Body to generate contacts with potential new members. Distribute Special Industry Names The Representative Body benefits from an allocation of up to 10 special industry names to be distributed among its group of registrants. Get special domain names The Representative Body will get allocated five special names for its own use. Community The Representative Body will have the ability to recommend other associations as partner association in the Registrant Group. By being referenced on the .aero website, .aero partner associations will also benefit from other enhanced exposure related to .aero marketing campaigns as well as direct access from the web site.

“Registrant Group”  refers to the Group of which Registrant is a member.

“Credentials type”  refers to the type of credentials the Registrant possesses and will provide to the .aero Office when required.

“Credentials value”  refers to a value related to the credentials type.

“Fax/mail with application”  indicates what documents (if any) must to be submitted by way of mail or fax to the .aero Office together with the application. If the field is empty, no document is required to be faxed or mailed at the time the application is submitted. The .aero Office can however request the document in the course of verification of the application.

Each registrant group includes a credential type  “Other” . This is to open a possibility for registration to Registrant who do not possess any credentials defined in this document but are members of a particular Registrant Group.

“Supporting documentation”  refers to a any document provided by the registrant showing that the registrant is member of the registrant group selected. Each supporting document is manually reviewed by the .aero Office.

.aero Eligibility Reconsideration Policy (“Policy”)

This Policy is incorporated in all applications for an Aviation Community Membership ID (“Application”) and in agreements with registrants concerning .aero domain name registrations. It operates between (a) the Sponsor of the .aero domain TLD and (b) the applicant for an Aviation Community Membership ID or the holder of a .aero domain name registration, as the case may be. An Aviation Community Membership ID is a necessary prerequisite for registering or maintaining a .aero domain name registration. “You” and “your” refer to the applicant or the registrant, as the case may be. “Us” “our” and “we” refer to the Sponsor.

1. Purpose. This Eligibility Reconsideration Policy (“Policy”) is incorporated by reference into your application for an Aviation Community Membership ID and into any registration agreement you may have fora .aero domain name. It sets out the terms and conditions in connection with any challenge you may wish to make in relation to a decision by us:

(a) that you do not or that you no longer meet the .aero eligibility requirements as described in the .aero Domain Management Policy (“Eligibility Requirements”); or

(b) if you are the holder of a .aero domain name, to revoke your domain name licence (“Decision”).

The proceedings initiated by your challenge to our Decision will be conducted according to the Rules for Eligibility Reconsideration Policy (“ERP Rules”), and the selected administrative dispute resolution service provider’s supplemental rules.

1. Your representations. By applying to obtain an Aviation Community Membership ID, applying to register a domain name, or by applying to renew a registered domain name, you represent and warrant to us that (a) the statements made in your Application are complete and accurate; (b) you meet the Eligibility Requirements; and (c) the domain name and your use of the domain name complies with the .aero Domain Management Policy.
2. Mandatory administrative proceeding. You are required to initiate a mandatory administrative proceeding in the event that you wish to challenge our Decision (“Request for Reconsideration”). These proceedings, which will take the form of a reconsideration of our Decision, will be conducted before a provider that has been appointed as a provider of dispute resolution services under this Policy (“Provider”). A list of Providers is available at  http://www.information.aero/ .
3. Procedure.

(a) Selection of Provider. You shall select the Provider from those on the list of Providers available at  http://www.information.aero/  by submitting the Request for Reconsideration to that Provider. The selected Provider will administer the proceeding.

(b) Initiation of proceeding and process and appointment of the Panel. The ERP Rules state the process for initiating and conducting a proceeding and for appointing the panel that will hear and determine the Request for Reconsideration (“Panel”).

(c) Fees. All fees charged by a Provider in connection with the Request for Reconsideration by a Panel shall be paid in accordance with the ERP Rules and the selected Provider’s supplemental rules.

(d) How to demonstrate that you meet the Eligibility Requirements or that your domain name complies with the .aero Domain Management Policy. You should refer to the ERP Rules in determining how your Request for Reconsideration should be prepared.

(e) Our involvement in the administrative proceedings. We may, but we are not required to, participate in the administration or conduct of any proceeding before a Panel. We agree to be bound by the decision rendered by the Panel whether or not we participate.

(f) Remedy. The remedy available to you pursuant to any proceeding before a Panel shall be limited to the issue, or the retention, of an Aviation Community Membership ID; or the acceptance by us that the domain name complies with the .aero Domain Management Policy.

(g) Notification and publication. The Provider shall notify us of any decision made by a Panel with respect to your Request for Reconsideration. All decisions under this Policy will be published in full over the Internet, except when a Panel determines in an exceptional case to redact portions of its decision.

5.Stay . If we notify you of our Decision, then we will not cancel any domain name you were holding on the basis of the contested Aviation Community Membership ID or is otherwise affected by our decision:

(a) for 30 days from the date of our Decision; and

(b) if you submit a Request for Reconsideration within the time limit referred to in paragraph 5(a), then until the Provider notifies us of the decision made by the Panel.

1. Policy modifications. We may modify this Policy at any time. We will post our revised Policy here at least 10 days before it becomes effective. Unless this Policy has already been invoked by the submission of a Request for Reconsideration to a Provider, in which event the version of the Policy in effect at the time it was invoked will apply to you until the Request for Reconsideration is heard, all such changes will be binding upon you with respect to any Request for Reconsideration you may wish to submit subsequently. If you object to a change in this Policy, your sole remedy is to cancel your .aero domain name, provided that you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees you paid. The revised Policy will apply to you until you cancel or fail to renew your .aero domain name.
