Step 1: Obtain a D-U-N-S Number from Dun & Bradstreet
Before you begin, you must first obtain a D-U-N-S number from Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). If you do not have a D&B D-U-N-S number, then you need to obtain this first.
The D&B D-U-N-S Number is a unique nine-digit identification sequence, which provides unique identifiers of single business entities. There are over 100 million D-U-N-S numbers issued to companies in over 100 countries world-wide. In today's global economy, the D&B D-U-N-S Number has become the standard for keeping track of the world's businesses.
Please note: There is no cost to get a D&B D-U-N-S Number for your business. You do not need to establish a full D&B credit file for your business in order to get authenticated for .travel.
To apply for a D-U-N-S number, start by selecting your country from the menu below
Step 2: Create an Authentication Account
If you already have a D-U-N-S Number, proceed to the .travel Authentication process.
Once you create your Authentication account, you will receive an email confirmation from D&B containing your Unique Identifying Number (UIN).
Step 3: Check Results of Authentication
It will then take a few days for D&B to generate your list of approved names. You will not receive any email notifying you of this event. You will need to login to your Authentication account at to check what names have been approved for you.
At any time, you may also request to be approved for additional names for your UIN. If you do, remember to upload supporting documentation for each additional name.
Login to access your .travel Authentication Account
Note:
If you belong to a travel association, they may also be performing .travel authentication for their members.
