Only members of the aviation community-- incorporating airlines, airports,
companies, organizations, associations, government agencies and qualified
individuals, may register a domain name in .aero.
All .aero domain names are included in the .aero
Directory.
Request Aviation Community Membership ID (.aero ID )
Every registrant needs to obtain a .aero ID in order to be able to
register .aero domains. Your .aero ID is the unique validity process,
which screens potential domain registrants thus ensuring the integrity
and the exclusivity of the .aero domain.
You may reserve your .aero domain before obtaining your .aero
ID. However, your name will be in a pending status until you obtain
your .aero ID.
- Go to https://www.information.aero/node/add/request-aero-id/
- Upon submission, you'll receive credentials for checking the status
of your application.
- SITA will review the application and upon confirmation, either approve
or deny the application.
- Upon approval, you will receive the aero ID (ENS ID) and password
(ENS Auth Key) information which can then be used to register the
domain name.
- If the application is denied, you will have to apply again at a
later stage with more information to support your association with
the aviation community.
